Don't miss your chance to sign up for the spring soft launch of our basic needs support incubators

We designed these incubators based on your thoughtful reflections of where you are in your effort to support students' basic needs and what you need most from a community of practice. You and your colleagues shared a strong desire to connect and learn from one another to address crucial areas of practice. Each incubator will have an Education Northwest facilitator and 2-3 community of practice experts supporting it.  Every community of practice member may join one incubator.

The six biweekly incubator sessions will be held throughout April, May, and June, and are time for focused discussion about one of three topics:

    1. Student basic needs assessments (led by Michelle Hodara and featuring Sarita Cargas and Cheree Daniels Wiltsher)
    2. Increasing SNAP utilization - (led by Leanne Davis and featuring Hope Dixon, Andrea Mora, and Daniel O'Donnell)
    3. Addressing housing needs - (led by Sara Goldrick-Rab and featuring Pam Blumenthal, Sam Prater, and Ann Shalof)

Incubators will meet via Zoom on the following Tuesdays at 9 or 10 am PT/ 12 or 1 ET, depending on participants' preferences:

    • Week 1:  April 9
    • Week 2:  April 23
    • Week 3:  May 7
    • Week 4:  May 21
    • Week 5:  June 4
    • Week 6:  June 18
