Greeting, ACUI tech community!

Boise State wants to learn more about your outdoor event AV equipment and capabilities. Feel free to add partial or complete responses to this google doc so we can all share: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jUIm1Imk7E6-h5dZLxlV8CXlm_9OXUYaG1Iqeh76gcg/edit#gid=0

Sample questions on doc include...
  • What equipment do you use for outdoor AV? List preferred; models helpful if available. Please note portable v. permanent
  • What outdoor spaces do you serve? (General description, size of space, max attendees)
  • What level of production or performances do you serve? (Announcements, background music, live performances, bands, etc)
  • How do you haul, store, and transport your gear safely?
  • How would you describe your access to power / infrastructure in these outdoor spaces?
  • Other Notes / Considerations?
Have a really stellar system that works for you and your campus and want to tell us about it? Let me know in a note on the spreadsheet and we may reach out to you!

Thank you so much,
Elise Alford, MSEd

Thanks for the question.  This is an excellent use of the forum.  Bench marking AV equipment is not something many Unions have done.  I hope you can share your findings with the group when you have completed your research.
