Event Services Software --- 25Live

I'm wondering if any of our ACUI colleagues use 25Live to manage their space reservations in their student unions/conference spaces?  Are you using it for space, equipment, labor and beyond such as caterings?  If you only use it for space/equipment what application does your campus use for catering services?  Your thoughts and opinions are appreciated.  Thanks.

Hi Linda - we currently use EMS in the Student Centers at Temple but we are embarking on a transition to 25Live.  We just contracted with them and academic scheduling is the first priority.
I know of a few campuses who use 25Live for the Student Unions/Student Centers - most locally, West Chester University and Lehigh University.  In both cases, they use 25Live for all scheduling on campus.  WCU is an Aramark campus and I believe that they (Aramark) use CaterTrax in all their University accounts.  We too are with Aramark as a food service partner and use cater trax for catering event processing.
As we transition to 25Live, we'll be using it for A/V, furniture, and other resources/equipment, as well as for client billing.
While I don't have a ton of info, I'd be happy to talk with you about your questions/needs if you'd like a 10,000 foot view of the process.
I can also connect you with some folks if that helps.

There are institutions out there running everything on 25Live.  I've met a few of them at the 25Live users conference in Portland, OR (usually the second week in July).

We utilize 25Live for academic and event scheduling on our campus.  I have been working with the system, and learning about it's capabilities on the operations side for nearly 3 years.  Now that I am a System Administrator, I have been learning much more about how the database actually works.  Not only is the system helpful for scheduling and coordinating logistics, but our team can generate daily operation reports for locks / unlocks, set-up changes, and use the system to keep track of inventory.  The system can be used to generate space and resource utilization reports for historical data comparison as long as the information is being captured / scheduled properly.

It is a super powerful tool once you figure out how to use it.  I would be happy to chat if you have more questions.
