Lauren,
Before virtual when your organizations had in-person events, did they have to submit their events for approval through your engage platform? Thanks!

Hello,
At Slippery Rock University, we developed a set of Virtual Event Scheduling Guidelines with the purpose of limit conflicting and duplicate events Universitywide. Our goal was to create a streamlined approach to programming and events. All virtual events and programs targeted at current students were required to follow the scheduling procedures outlined in the policy. We use CampusLabs Engage as events management tool and centralized calendar.
I am happy to talk with anyone interested in our rationale. Hope this helps!

Hi Alex!
Unfortunately, I do not have any documentation in regards to virtual programming but I was curious if you would be willing to share your in-personal policy updates? We are in the process now of updating ours to prepare for our return to campus!
Thank you!

Subject: Virtual Events Policy
Hello everyone,
We are updating our Social Events Policies in preparation for next year. We were started that process during our time that we started working remotely. We have finished looking at in person programming but wanted to look at adding language about virtual programming in our social events policy.
If you are adding language to your policies, are you adding it to your current policy or creating a new policy altogether.
Is there specific language that you added because you have noticed trends with current virtual programming? If it is what trends were you noticing? If you have multiple policies (One for on-campus and one for off-campus) are you adding it to both policies or just to one and which one are you adding it to?
Would you be willing to share a link/the document for your events policy?
Thanks in advance!
~Alex
