Bio

Retired since 2014, my wife Joanna and I travel extensively, including multi-month trips in Europe and around the U.S.

My long service to ACUI includes being the chair of the Benchmarking Services Team, Administration, Finance & Management Ed. Council Co-Chair, ACUI Region 15 Membership Coordinator, Administration, Finance & Management Ed. Council Coordinator and serving on the Board of Trustees as an elected At-Large Member.

I have authored eight articles in the ACUI Bulletin (Student Management of Auxiliary Enterprises: A look at the University of California’s Associated Students Inc., The World is Flat, Generations in the Workplace, Strategic Human Resource Development, To Form a More Perfect Union, How the Tipping Point Can Make A Big Difference in Your College Union, Benchmarking Helps Measure Union Programs, Operations, Student Union Fees, An ethical analysis of circumventing loopholes).

I served on the University Credit Union Board of Directors from 2001 – 2008, chairing the finance committee during that time; on the Loyola Marymount University MBA Alumni Board from 1999 – 2008 where I served as the Board Chair from 2006 to 2008
