Hi!
I am with the University of Southern Mississippi and I am wanting to host a Holiday Student Makers Market that our Union would host and provide free tabling to students. This would allow students to sell their crafts and wares with the intention that it helps put some money in their pockets before the holidays. The only issue that I am worried about is our own Solicitation Policy with the union which requires a $75 flat fee for any solicitation. Since I am wanting this to be a free tabling event, how do I do that without other student orgs, departments etc deeming this unfair because they would normally have to pay the $75 solicitation fee ?
