I've experienced two successful hair salon installations, one at UCLA and the other at UNC Charlotte. At Charlotte when we opened the new Student Union in 2009 the salon was one of the first tenants and remains there to this day, generating consistent income to the union and providing a needed and valued service to the campus.

Good Morning,
We are currently looking for new vendors to fill several vacant storefronts in our union. We're considering options such as a hair and nail salon, a cell phone repair shop, and/or a cell phone provider kiosk/store. I'm interested to know if anyone has had success with these types of retailers. What other types of retailers/vendors have been successful in your student unions?
