Our Lost & Found receives a wide range items daily.
Accepted items include clothing, books, cellphones, glasses, keys, water bottles , jewelry, wallets/purses, any driver's license or university identification, backpacks, and electronics.
Not Accepted Items: Items that present a sanitation risk, food, drinks, and containers.
After 30 days in our lost and found system, non-high-value items are donated. Also wallets/purses that contain more than $50 and high-value items ($100+) are promptly turned over to our campus police.

Subject: Lost & Found Items
Hello Everyone,
We are currently working on updating our campus-wide Lost and Found policies and would love to gather some insights from your institutions. If you manage Lost and Found at your university, would you be able to share your list of accepted and not accepted items? We are interested in learning what other universities include in their guidelines to help inform our own processes.
Any input or examples would be greatly appreciated!
Kind Regards,
