Event Database

Does anyone use a certain software or database to help keep track of programs and to aid in planning them?

We are looking to create a database full of event information to aid our program planners (graphic services, swag, marketing, etc).

Thanks!

Good morning Brian!  We don't use a specific software, though I am looking into using a CRM program like Dynamics as a program management/customer database tool.  I'd love to see what others are using, or if there are programs that we should specifically avoid.

Best,
Jez

We have found Trello to be a very useful tool for multiple aspects of program management (and it's free)

Other than our Daily Tasks board which our team uses for logistical day-to-day operations:
- I have designed a board for HR purposes (ie keeping track of training dates, certifications, SOP sign-offs, etc)
- I have designed a Best Practice board with Step-by-Step  "How Tos" for new employees during shadow training and for quick reference
- I have even used a board for my own event planning and side hustle projects

It can take some time to develop your boards to the way you like - but once you create some good templates it becomes a copy / paste process
