University Events Center Proposal

Good afternoon ACUI Friends,

A friend of mine needs assistance.  Please see the message.  

"My name is Ebony Ramsey, and I am the executive director, student engagement at Prairie View A&M University and I am being charged with developing a University Events Center operation on our campus. I am currently looking for examples of initial proposals, organizational charts, budget matrix, learning outcomes that are associated with the implementation of a University Events Center to allocation space and space requests on our campus. If you have any materials that I can review, and I will be certain to cite my research, in order to inform my proposal that would be wonderful.

Hi Ebony and Thanh,

I apologize for the very late reply. I just became the leader of the Urban Unions Community of Practice. If you are still looking for information I would recommend that you post this question to the Administration, Finance, and Auxiliaries Management Community. The revenue generation model is going to be very different for an event center in a town of less than 8,000 (Prairie View, TX) vs. in an urban environment. This community focuses on issues related to their unions being located in large cities.
