Feedback Requested - Building Rapport between Reservations and Operations

Attention those of you working in Conference and Event Services-related areas on your campus!

For the upcoming ACUI Conference and Event Services Seminar, my colleague Alyssa Watson and I are presenting a session on teamwork for colleagues working in these functional areas. The goal of this survey is to understand possible barriers in Operations and Reservations working together. Survey respondents are intended to be those whose role is to plan and execute events with clients; not the clients themselves.

For the purpose of this survey, the Reservations side is defined as the functional area pertaining primarily to event planning - room scheduling and reservations, inputting event details into event planning software, planning catering, seeking approvals for event aspects in advance. The Operations side of Conference and Event Services is defined as the functional area pertaining primarily to event execution - the set-up and tear-down of event furniture, audio/visual needs, and the management of the facility.
