    Hello!

We are currently looking to upgrade our outdoor patio furniture that is used for special events. We are looking for tables and chairs that are sturdy enough to stay out for 8 months out of the year without being bolted down, and potentially semi collapsible for winter storage. Does anyone have any recommendations of brands that they have really like, are durable and lasted a long time? TIA!

    Good Morning Erica,

Here at the University of Louisiana @ Lafayette we just purchased some outdoor furniture form Sister Bay Furniture Company. the style we got I attached to this.  The contact we used was Shane McGuire and here is his email.  smcguire@sisterbayfurniture.com.  It did take a while to come in but the furniture looks great and easy to put together, the chairs we got were already put together as well please see attached pics.

Erica - Hello.  I would recommend you look at Polywood Furniture - https://www.polywood.com/    It is made of recycled plastic, it is virtually indestructible and will last for years.   It requires very little cleaning or maintenance.  It is not too heavy to move, but not so light that it would "travel" to places it should not be.   We just purchased a large amount of Polywood for the return-to-campus this September.   I didn't buy direct from Polywood, I went through one of our approved state vendors.   I am betting there is a Cal State vendor that could source Polywood and get you a state discount.   Good luck with your research.
